Our restaurant is set in a famine-era cottage which was built in the 1800s and has been brought back to life since we opened our doors in late 2022.

Situated at the end of the Salthill Promenade, Blackrock Cottage is perfect for a relaxing evening with friends and colleagues, entertaining clients, or mixing business with pleasure.

Our award-winning executive head chef Martin O’Donnell — and his culinary team, led by sous chef Michael McManus — have designed a range of menu options to choose from.

They will be happy to work with clients to create a bespoke offering that will cater for your company’s specific dining needs — from finger-food to tasting plates to one of our distinctive three-course menus.

Martin’s dishes celebrate the finest in Irish and global cuisine, using locally sourced, premium ingredients, that cater to a wide range of preferences and palates.

Our General Manager Mathieu Teulier, an experienced Sommelier, will also help you to choose a wine from our extensive list that will complement your meal and make your evening all the more enjoyable.

Mathieu or one of his team will also talk you through our popular cocktail menu, while we also have a range of non-alcoholic options to pick from.

If a wine-tasting event is something you might be interested in, Mathieu would also be happy to tell you more about what we can offer.
